A decade later, the company had established its own clothing brand bearing the Eastbay logo. In 1997, the giant retailer Woolworth (now Foot Locker, Inc.) bought the company. Today, Eastbay is one of the world's top suppliers of athletic shoes, apparel and sports gear. Although the Eastbay founders retired in 1999, the company still maintains its original commitment to helping consumers find high-quality athletic shoes, apparel and sports gear.
